Our Mission

Lost and Stolen Dogs Jamaica is dedicated to reuniting missing dogs with their families across Jamaica by maintaining a centralised lost dogs registry. Our mission is to provide a consistent, organised place where missing dogs can be recorded, monitored, and kept visible to the public, allowing information to be shared responsibly and recovery efforts to remain active until dogs are reunited with their families.

We work in partnership with Safe Paws Pet Finder, a recovery system built around the use of Smart ID Tags. Safe Paws Pet Finder provides dogs with a scannable Smart ID Tag that links directly to a digital profile, allowing a dog to be identified and reported if it goes missing. When a dog registered through the Pet Finder database is reported missing, that information connects into the Lost and Stolen Dogs Jamaica registry, linking physical identification through the tag with a public registry that supports visibility and community participation during recovery.

Our Smart IDTag is a simple yet effective way to keep your furry friend safe and ensure they can always find their way home, helping to reduce the number of lost dogs.
